Biography

Olanrewaju M. Yusuf currently serves as a Cybersecurity Analyst with Cybarik Limited, a UK-based firm. There he leads a portfolio of more than 15 global transformation initiatives and tracks performance across 18+ programmes for executive leadership.

From 2021 to 2023 he was the firm’s Information Security Compliance Analyst. In that role he cut security non-compliance by 35%, achieved a 98% threat remediation rate protecting over $500,000 annually, and raised audit readiness by 20% across SOC 2, HIPAA and NIST frameworks.

Before moving into cybersecurity, he spent two years as a UX and Product Researcher at Zalando SE in Berlin, one of Europe’s largest online retailers. His research there lifted user engagement by 25% and conversion rates by 18%.

His path, from sociology to security, gives him an uncommon lens: he reads digital threats not only as technical problems but as questions of human behaviour, institutions and power.

  • Regulatory compliance and audit readiness (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP)

Production team

I. Rigour

Every claim is sourced. We follow evidence wherever it leads and publish corrections openly.

II. Rootedness

We think from Africa outward, using our own history, languages and institutions as the starting point.

III. Courage

We take on questions others avoid, and we argue them in public with respect for those who disagree.
