About Us

Our Mandate

Guardians of Yorùbá destiny. Architects of a regional renaissance.

The historical arc

A millennium-long journey from ancient kingdoms to modern political advocacy.

  • c. 1000 CE Odùduwà’s unification. The Ifẹ̀ crowns are unified, marking the glorious era of Yorùbá civilisation across West Africa.
  • 1400–1835 Rise and fall of the Ọ̀yọ́ Empire. Ọ̀yọ́ becomes the largest Yorùbá state, then collapses, causing great displacement of our people.
  • 1840 Ìbàdàn victory. The republican forces of Ìbàdàn defeat the Ilọrin forces backed by the Sokoto Caliphate, securing Yorùbá civilisation.
  • 1850–1865 The reduction of Lagos. The European dismemberment of Yorùbáland begins, with the Lagos colony created by British gunboat diplomacy.
  • 1884–1885 The Berlin West Africa Conference. European powers carve Africa into colonies, partitioning Yorùbáland between Ghana, Togo, Benin Republic and Nigeria.
  • 1893 The Kiriji treaty. A historic treaty ends the Yorùbá civil wars and establishes peace.
  • 1914 The amalgamation. The forced union of Nigeria’s regions brings new political challenges.
  • 1954–1960s Awólọ́wọ̀’s renaissance. The Western Region under Chief Ọbáfẹ́mi Awólọ́wọ̀ achieves Africa’s first free education, television service and industrial estates.
  • 2020s TYF PAC emerges. A strategic response to existential threats and political marginalisation.

The manifesto

Why this moment matters

The historical imperative

The Yorùbá nation stands at a critical juncture. In a political landscape increasingly defined by ethnic coalition politics, the absence of unified Yorùbá political representation has left our collective interests perpetually marginalised.

Across Yorùbáland: Lagos, Ọ̀yọ́, Ọ̀ṣun, Ògùn, Èkìtì, Ondo, Kwara and Kogi.

The Awólọ́wọ̀ legacy

Our ideological foundation

Chief Ọbáfẹ́mi Awólọ́wọ̀’s vision of a prosperous, self-determining Yorùbá nation remains unrealised. His principles of free education, healthcare and economic empowerment deserve a political vehicle dedicated to their implementation.

  • Free education: Awólọ́wọ̀’s landmark policy.
  • Economic freedom: a vision of self-determination.

A civilisational crossroads

The choice before us

The Yorùbá civilisation, with its rich intellectual heritage, democratic traditions and entrepreneurial spirit, faces an existential challenge. Without organised political action, our future will be determined by others.

Our commitment

  • Unify the Yorùbá political voice across all states.
  • Promote candidates aligned with the principles of Awoism.
  • Hold elected officials accountable to our people.

Sacred principles

  • Security first. The primal covenant of governance is the protection of life and territory.
  • Heritage preservation. Preserving the Yorùbá language, traditions and cultural consciousness.
  • Regional autonomy. Advocating for true federalism and regional resource control.
  • Unity and cooperation. Building integrated trade networks and industrial cooperation across regions.

Join the renaissance

This is more than politics. It is about securing the future of a civilisation and reclaiming our legacy of excellence.
