Our mandate
Guardians of Yorùbá destiny. Architects of a regional renaissance.
Campus Connect carries the mandate of Think Yorùbá First onto campus. It is rooted in Chief Ọbáfẹ́mi Awólọ́wọ̀’s legacy of free education, healthcare and economic empowerment, and every member commits to four principles.
Read the full mandate-
Security first
The first duty of government is to protect life and land.
-
Heritage preservation
Keeping the Yorùbá language, traditions and cultural consciousness alive.
-
Regional autonomy
True federalism, with each region in control of its own resources.
-
Unity and cooperation
Trade, enterprise and partnership that bind our regions together.

Culture on campus
Wear it. Speak it. Live it.
Campus Connect is where Yorùbá students feel at home on campus. From aṣọ-òkè Fridays to drumming nights and ewì readings, our chapters keep the culture alive and loud, and invite everyone to share it.
