History
The Yorùbá presence in America goes back to the transatlantic slave trade. Recent Yorùbá immigration grew from the 1970s, as students and professionals settled across the country.
Oyotunji African Village in South Carolina, founded in 1970, is one of the best-known centres of Yorùbá religious and cultural revival in the United States.
Community Life
TYF United States organises members, takes part in the annual Yorùbá Global Conference and supports advocacy for the Yorùbá people at home.
