Ifa: An Exposition Of Ifa Literary Corpus

In this work, the connotation of the term ‘Ifa’ is deliberately restricted to the Ifa divination system and its literary corpus as it exists among the Yoruba people of Nigeria. It is important to establish this from the outset because similar systems of divination exist among the lgbo, the Nupe, the Gwari and the Jukun1 of Nigeria as well as among the Yoruba people of Togo, Dahomey, Cuba and Brazil.
