Community Projects
Our Community Projects
At Think Yoruba First, we are passionate about uplifting and supporting the Yoruba community. Our organization has undertaken various community projects, with a focus on delivering food bank initiatives and scholarships to community members in need. We firmly believe in the power of education and access to basic necessities, and our projects aim to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families within the Yoruba community.
Food Bank
One of our core initiatives is the establishment of food banks, which aim to alleviate food insecurity within the Yoruba community. We understand that many individuals and families struggle to meet their basic nutritional needs, which can have a profound impact on their overall well-being. Our food banks provide a vital lifeline by distributing nutritious food and essential supplies to those facing food insecurity. Through partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and generous donors, we have been able to collect and distribute food items regularly.

Scholarship
At Think Yoruba First, we believe in nation building through community projects in our society. Unfortunately, financial constraints often prevent talented individuals within the Yoruba community from pursuing their academic dreams. To address this issue, we have established a scholarship program to support deserving students in their educational pursuits.
By investing in the education of our community members, we believe we are building a brighter future for the Yoruba community as a whole.
Empowerment Programs
Agbajowo Funds: This is a no interest small loans provided to our market women throughout Yorubaland. Fund is founded by TYF General secretary Dr. Bukola Adeniji.
Participants in the initiatives have been very successful in keeping their trade going and support their family. This project has been able to improve the quality of life of market women by saving them from the trap Liam’s known as “gbọmulelanta”. Community projects like this is dear to the heart of Think Yoruba First.
